Finding The Perfect Suppliers For A 6 Figure Store
Finding suppliers can be TRULY frustrating there is no questions about it.
You try and find a supplier and you think you have a good one with an established company, amazing feedback and then BOOM! Out of stock in a blink of an eye putting your entire store on hold and your entire business comes to a hault.

Lets go over some of the best tips we can ever give you to ensure your suppliers are ‘A Player’ Material and will be there to support your business.
Step 1 – Feedback System
This is CRUCIAL! If you are on Alibaba or Aliexpress its pretty much crucial that you use their feedback system to the fullest.
This is obvious but you wouldn’t believe how many people overlook this.
There are a few things you want to keep in mind when it comes to the profile.
- Positive Feedback – must be over 95% and if they are below I ask them WHY its under 94%
- Open Since Date – must be over 4+ years in business with over 96% positive feedback
- Over 50+ orders – must have feedback for the item. Let other people test out a new supplier.
- VOTES – Super overlooked. Voted will allow you to see other peoples experience and feedback on the item
Step 2 – Contact Them!
Seriously, It Wont Kill You! Communication is key.
If you aren’t prepared to communicate with your supplier don’t expect them to help you or be there when you need them.
Here are a few key points to ask when you talk to them.
- Can you accept CVS files for my mass orders (super important question)
- How big your inventory / will you ever go out of stock if i need 200 units per day?
- How many SIMILAR products have you produced?
You can ask questions depending on what YOUR needs are – however, these are some basic ones I always ask.
Do NOT over look this process.
